I came upon this magazine through a friend here in L.A. who was designing it. Not only is it beautiful and GREEN, it’s impressive in the realm of women’s magazines in general. It was created for today’s woman who is interested in living a greener, healthier life without sacrificing comfort or style. It’s sophisticated, visually stunning and fresh without being ‘crunchy.’ (I think some people associate ‘green’ with ‘granola’) In lieu of negative articles, Positively Green is focused on solutions, and features new eco products combined with fashion, beauty, travel, gossip, and celebrity interviews. It is written for mainstream women, not just those with a focus on environmental issues. It inspires women to live their very best life, not unlike creator Kelly Macgill. As you all know, I’m a huge fan of ‘the back story.’ Kelly, a single mom, walked away from her former life to spend more time with her young son and reinvent herself.
